October 1: International Day for the Elderly
This day is special for Elder people or a senior citizen
all over the world. In some countries, some notable people such as politician
motivational speakers place their speeches of this day and another hand on radios
television or newspaper publish about the day with various issues on senior
citizen-facing. We should make our society as great as any senior citizen will
not face any problem or else.
October 2: International Day of Non-Violence
We all know that the day second of October is a Birth Anniversary of Mohan Karamchand Gandhi well known as the father of the nation.
On 15 June 2007 The United Nations (UN) marked the day as Non-Violence day on behalf of Mohan Karamchand Gandhi.
October (First Monday): World Habitat Day
The second Monday of the October world celebrates the day as
World Habitat Day to promote the idea that everyone deserves a healthy and a decent place and we should respect clean our place, more than the 30-year world
celebrating this day.
October 4: World Animal Welfare Day
The planet is for every living animal but few groups of
people destroying this balance for there profit and this impacting our nature
so this day held because of that to make more awareness among the public.
October 8: Indian Air Force Day
October 8 is the birth anniversary of the IAF’s and at 2020
they step in an 88th birthday anniversary, the day established by Indian the government in 1932.
October 9: World Post Office Day
In 1874, the Universal Postal Union marked this day as a World
Post Office Day. In Tokyo, The UPU Congress declared it very clearly to give
more importance to this field.
October 10: National Post Day and World Mental Health Day
World psychological state Day is a world day for global
psychological state education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. It
was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the planet Federation for
psychological state, a worldwide psychological state organization with members
and contacts in more than 150 countries.
October 11: National Girl Child Day
In many states of our nation, there were lots of people
demanding a boy as a child for several financial reasons so they killed the
girl infant in an illegal way. That’s why the ministry of girl and child
development and under the government it was started in 2008. The main point of
view is to spread awareness among people.
October 2nd Thursday: World Sight Day
Every year the 2nd Thursday of October observe this as World
Sight Day. The motive of the day was to draw more attention to blindness and vision
impairment. It was first established by the SightFirstCampaign in 2000.
October 13: International Day of Natural Disaster Reduction
International Day for Disaster reduction is the theme for
International Day for Disaster reduction 2019 is “Reduce disaster damage to
critical infrastructure and disruption of basic services”.
October 14: World Standards Day
14 October was specifically chosen to mark the date, in
1946, when delegates from 25 countries first gathered in London and decided to
make a world organization focused on facilitating standardization. Even though
ISO was formed one year later, it wasn't until 1970 that the primary World
Standards Day was celebrated.
October 15: World Students Day and World White Cane Day
World Students’ Day held on 15 October, It was Announced by APJ Abdul Kalam Ajada and preetham.
This day especially for those who are blind. But they are also
capable of what normal people also do in our regular life so this day is a
symbol of freedom independence and confidence.

food. Globally many people suffer from lack of healthy food. So, In 1945 under
the Food Agriculture Organization(FAO) of the UN.

In the year of 1972, World Development Information Day was surely declared by the United Nations
General Assembly and a major coincidence is United Nation Day also on that day.
October 30: World
Savings Day
It was founded as 31st october will be known as World
Savings Day. The Italian Professor Filippo Ravizza declared today the
"International Saving Day" on the Judgment Day of the congress.
October 31: National Unity Day
National Unity Day is celebrated on 31st October every year , it was established in 2014, the same day also the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel who was a freedom fighter. Next, he worked with our government and maintained an important role.
